Yes – all sessions are by appointment only. We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons.

Absolutely. You are welcome to bring one loved one with you for support and comfort during your session.
About the Session
-
Your session is designed to be calm and unrushed. We will guide you through posing, help you find positions that feel natural and flattering, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way. After your scan, we’ll review your scan together and discuss material, size, and finish options for your sculpture.
-
A female member of our team will perform your scan. The appointment is scheduled for an hour, however, each scan takes just 1–2 minutes. We will review your digital scan together on screen and explore different poses until we find one that feels just right. Once your final pose is chosen, we capture one additional scan – we often find that by this point, clients feel more relaxed and confident, which translates beautifully into the final result.
-
For the most accurate and beautiful results, fully nude scans are recommended. However, you are welcome to wear a seamless nude thong if that feels more comfortable. Your comfort and sense of safety are always our priority – please never hesitate to share any concerns. There will be a dressing gown for you to wear before, after and in between poses.
-
No special preparation is required. That said, we will send you a simple guide ahead of your appointment with helpful tips – perfect for those who like to feel fully prepared.
Pregnancy Safety & Timing
-
Yes – our 3D imaging process is just as safe as standard photography.
-
Most clients choose to schedule their session between 28–35 weeks, when the bump is beautifully defined but still comfortable to hold poses. Every body and every pregnancy is different, and we’re happy to help guide you based on your individual journey.
Customizing Your Sculpture
-
Yes. All of these decisions are made after your scan. We’ll show you samples in studio and help you select what best reflects your style and vision.
-
Not at all. You can explore all options during your appointment and take your time deciding.
-
No. At Figure & Forme, we believe every body is worthy of being honored exactly as it is. When editing your digital bust, our focus is on creating a clean, high-quality print that accurately reflects your natural form. We do not alter the shape of your body. Arms, legs, and head are removed as part of the sculptural style, but your form is never reshaped.
-
Our scanner captures incredible detail, and often these features do appear. While we do not believe in “fixing” bodies, if there is a specific scar or mark you would like softened, please let us know during your session and we will do our best to accommodate.
Delivery & Aftercare
-
We ship your finished sculpture securely to your home. No pickup is required.
-
Your bust is low maintenance and designed to be lived with. An occasional wipe with a microfiber cloth is all that’s needed to remove dust or smudges. Avoid harsh household cleaners.
The only real risk is impact. Our Atelier and Signature collections may crack if dropped onto a hard surface, so we recommend displaying your piece on a stable surface and out of reach of small children. -
If your sculpture fell or is broken/damaged through other ways we can create a new sculpture for you. You will get a discount of $100 on the pricing as listed on this website.
